About me

“Dedicated to good health and healing”

My name is Caroline Keighley and I am passionate about helping people to achieve optimal health through the use of nutrition. I developed my interest in nutrition after it played a large part in my recovery from a long journey with ME/CFS. When I was well enough, I decided not to return to my career as a nurse, but to study nutrition at the highly respected College of Naturopathic Medicine.

My studies taught me a deep and thorough understanding of the fine balance of nutrients our bodies need to maintain good health and wellbeing and to identify imbalances in the body systems. I gained a good sound knowledge of how to help correct these imbalances and how to help people on their path to achieving their optimal wellness.

I am in interested in all areas of Nutritional Therapy but after personal experience with ME/CFS it followed that I would have a specialised interest in this area and a desire to help other sufferers recover from this debilitating condition.

So that I may give clients the best quality service at all times I continually keep updated by attending regular lectures and seminars on nutrition and advances made in this area of science. I am also training as a clinical supervisor at The College of Naturopathic Medicine, assisting Nutritional Therapy students to develop their skills as competent practitioners whilst taking real consultations.

I am a full member of BANT (British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy), this is the professional body for nutritional therapy practitioners and those working in the wider application of nutritional science; www.bant.org.uk
